Vacina com cepas atenuadas ou inativadas vírus gripe tipos A B. É compatível com amamentação, tanto sua forma inativada-inyectable (vírus mortos) como atenuada-inalada nasal (Canadá 2023, AAP 2022, CDC 2021, Red Book 2021-24 p.455, CAV-AEP 2019, Lawrence 2016 p402, Briggs 2015). Vacinas são compatíveis com amamentação, tanto as que são microorganismos vivos atenuados, como mortos, inativados ou formadas por partes ou toxoides mesmos. Não passam ao leite, salvo rubéola, não ocasionam problemas nos bebês, salvo febre amarela em menores 6 meses. Amamentação pode melhorar resposta anticorpos vacinas provocar menos efeitos secundários como febre ou anorexia. Pós-parto imediato é melhor momento para vacinar contra sarampo-rubéola-paperas varicela em mulheres não estivessem imunizadas. Mulheres que amamentam podem devem ser protegidas com vacinas recomendadas como demais adultos. Listado medicamentos essenciais OMS 2002: compatível com amamentação (WHO 2002).
