Comentário
Anti-helmíntico amplo espectro indicado para tratar cisticercose, difilobotríase, teníase, himenolepiase, esquistossomose fasciolose. Administração oral em uma três doses, um ou dois dias (quatorze dias para neurocisticercose). Excreta-se em leite materno em quantidade clinicamente insignificante (Bustinduy 2020, Pütter 1979). Diversas sociedades médicas consensos de especialistas consideram seguro o uso desta medicação durante amamentação (Friedman 2018, Olds 2003, Porto 2003). Listado medicamentos essenciais OMS: compatível com amamentação (WHO/UNICEF 2002).
